Linux is an open operating system that can be downloaded for free by anyone. The desktop edition of Xfce and KDE Plasma is scheduled to be available this July, including an upgrade mechanism from Mint 17.3 Rosa to Mint 18 Sarah.

- System shutdown/reboot is inhibited when automated tasks are performed.
